I have, but then I've driven a Vauxhall (no, not a Cresta!)

If I remember correctly GM decided to bring some European models to American markets in 50's. Opel was sold in Buick dealerships and Pontiac (or was it Oldsmobile) dealerships sold Vauxhall. The latter didn't last very long but Opel was sold until 70's. GM decided to sell the T-car as Chevrolet Chevette which withdrew Opel permanently from American markets.
That's pretty cheap Velox even though it must be very rare in there and it looks to be in decent shape. I think that I have seen couple of ones here in Finland but they are really rare here too.

Would likely be good buy but the guy has another one that is restored so I imagine all the good parts off of this one are in his good one and this has whatever is left.

Brock's Salvage just north of Saskatoon has a bunch of old English cars on the lot. I've also seen a bunch of random Kijiji ads for classic English cars and trucks scattered around the province. It's weird. I've seen ads for so many oddball cars that people just have sitting on their farms and stuff out here. I'm thinking it's a product of the low population density... everyone just drives the same cars as everyone else because it's easier, and the number of people interested in the oddities is low.

That's interesting. Any idea if they were RHD or LHD models? LHD Holden would be pretty weird.
Some Finnish guy has a RHD '64 Ford Country Squire that the factory specially made for Australian, British and South African markets. Around 20 were made. The interior is pretty weird because the factory has used some left over parts from various models (some from '59 Edsel). Ford decided to end the official production of full size RHD models in '61 so correct parts weren't available.

Those must be really rare. I couldn't even found any pictures but I found one thread that mentioned a stash containing 25 LHD FBs. So some have survived.

Let's hope that the stash will see light in someday.
